Salanova® holds the dressing so well!
Even professional chefs have welcomed Salanova® with open arms. "We're talking about a fantastic product, I would almost call it sensational," revealed Dominique Gerber, head chef of the kitchen in 4-star-hotel Krone in Lenzburg, Switzerland.
Gerber: "'One cut, ready'; that's not just a marketing ploy, it really works!" Gerber remarked above all upon the flavour, which he described as having a hint of mild bitterness. He also found the structure of the leaves remarkable in that the little ribs hold the dressing very well.
In future, the Krone Hotel will be using Salanova® for starters like mixed salads and for garnishes with, for example, fish and meat dishes. The head chef is already looking forward to the forthcoming expansion of the Salanova® range of lettuce varieties.
